A luxury yacht charter is an experience like no other, offering the ultimate holiday: relaxation, comfort and adventure!
Unsure exactly what is included in the price of a luxury yacht charter? In this article from our yacht blog, we show you how the price of a luxury yacht charter is made up:
The price of a luxury yacht charter covers full use of the yacht. This means access to all the amenities on board, including luxurious suites, state-of-the-art entertainment systems, water toys and, where available, gyms, jacuzzis, swimming pools, spas and much more.
As well as the use of the yacht, the price of a luxury yacht charter includes the services of the crew: the captain, of course, as well as a chef and further service staff. The number of crew members on board depends on the size and type of yacht. The crew are responsible for your safety, comfort and enjoyment during your charter and can provide everything from gourmet meals to tailor-made tours and excursions.
Further costs charged on top of the weekly charter fee are fuel for the yacht, fuel for the generator, fuel for the water toys, berthing fees and any other costs incurred during your charter. These additional costs are charged separately and come to around 25 to 40% of the charter fee. Local tax is also charged on top. The crew gratuity is not included in these costs.
