Australia and the Pacific as a charter destination
When it is winter in the northern hemisphere, the season begins here. From November to March the Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef are the destination, with Whitehaven Beach and Hamilton Island as well known fixed points; for the reef, the months around the turn of the year are the most reliable. Further south lie Sydney Harbour and Pittwater, two cruising areas right on the city's doorstep.
If you have a long journey to get there, a trip here is rarely worthwhile for less than two weeks. Many guests combine their time on board with a few days ashore in Sydney or with a detour to New Zealand. For many, this tends to be a second or third charter, once the Mediterranean has told its story.
The choice of yachts is small compared with the Mediterranean. If you want to charter in Australia or the Pacific, you should therefore enquire around a year in advance, so that yacht, crew and dates all fit together. We agree the prices with you case by case.
Prices on request. The APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) covers fuel, harbour fees and provisions. It is paid in advance and settled at the end of the charter, and anything left over is refunded to you.
